Send Photos for Gutter Review

Send the property address, one wide photo of the gutter run, close-ups of the problem, the downspout and discharge point, and any staining or damage below. Detailed measurements, repair mapping, and a written bid package may require the $250 evaluation fee.

Do not climb onto a roof or unsafe ladder only to take photos. Send what can be photographed safely from the ground, a window, balcony, or existing safe access point.

Overflowing or Clogged

Water spills over the front or back, plants grow in the gutter, outlets clog, or runoff misses the downspout.

Review My Overflow Problem

Leaking, Sagging, or Pulling Away

Seams drip, end caps leak, hangers loosen, sections separate, pitch changes, or water gets behind the gutter.

A Gutter Problem Can Become a Fascia, Stucco, Framing or Drainage Problem

A gutter is supposed to collect roof water and move it to a controlled discharge point. When water spills behind the gutter, leaks at a connection, or dumps against the building, the visible drip may be only one part of the problem.

The practical repair depends on:

  • Gutter run and pitch
  • Outlet and downspout
  • Discharge point
  • Hanger attachment
  • Fascia and roof edge
  • Surrounding finishes
  • Access and height
  • What water has visibly affected

  • Recurring maintenance for gutters at height with safe access planning
  • Leak and seam repair review
  • Hanger, pitch, and attachment repair
  • End caps, outlets, elbows, and downspouts

6-Inch Rolled Gutters, Hidden Mounts and Real Fascia Damage

These photos show a 6-inch gutter upgrade with hidden mounts and a separate example of what neglected gutter maintenance can do to fascia. Cleaning, repair, replacement, guards, and wood repair are all part of the same water-path conversation.

Fascia Repair and 6-Inch Gutter Installation

6-inch rolled gutter upgrade with hidden mounts

A roof-edge gutter assembly needed a cleaner, higher-capacity replacement approach with hidden mounting and fewer joint points.

  • 6-inch gutter upgrade
  • Hidden mount installation
  • Rolled gutter runs cut to project length
  • Outlet and downspout coordination
  • Roof-edge and fascia attachment review

The Gutter Is One Part of the Water Path

A basic gutter scope may stop at the metal. AWC can review related fascia, wood, stucco, waterproofing, drainage, paint, access, and repair coordination when the condition crosses trades.

Repair versus replacement factors

  • Remaining metal condition
  • Number and location of leaks
  • Pitch and outlet placement
  • Hanger and fascia condition
  • Repeated prior patching
  • Material compatibility
  • Roof-water volume
  • Downspout capacity and discharge

Code-compliant and functional cleaning, localized repair, or replacement using standard approved materials and details listed in the written scope.

  • Restore basic collection and discharge
  • Standard preparation and compatible repair materials
  • Repair only the approved areas
  • Standard cleanup

Best

Premium Long-Term Protection

A broader premium system, substantial replacement, or full replacement approach intended to maximize long-term protection, consistency, capacity, finish integration, and future serviceability.

  • Premium approved material/system choices
  • Broader replacement where repeated repair is poor value
  • Improved system consistency and discharge planning
  • Related finish integration where included
  • Five-year workmanship warranty, subject to the written proposal, exclusions, existing conditions, maintenance, and product limitations

Warranty coverage, manufacturer coverage, and available options depend on the approved written scope, existing construction, product system, maintenance requirements, access, surrounding work, and contract exclusions.

FAQ

What photos should I send for a gutter review?

Send one wide photo of the full gutter run and roof edge, close-ups of the leak or damage, the outlet and top of the downspout, the downspout route, the ground-level discharge point, staining or damage below, and a ground-level access photo. Do not climb onto a roof, lean from an unsafe opening, or set a ladder only for website photos.

Can you price a small gutter repair from photos?

Useful photos may be enough to confirm fit, discuss a rough range, or identify the next step for a small visible condition. Final scope and price depend on measurements, access, pitch, attachment, material, surrounding construction, discharge, and hidden conditions.

Do you clean gutters?

Yes. All World Construction LLC reviews one-time cleaning, recurring gutter maintenance, outlet clearing, downspout flow concerns, guard maintenance, and visible condition reporting for San Diego County properties. Cleaning does not fix pitch, corrosion, capacity, roof-edge, or drainage failures unless those items are separately included.

Does cleaning include downspouts?

Downspout review can be included when access and scope allow. Photos of the outlet, elbows, downspout route, and discharge point help confirm whether the concern is debris, separation, crushing, missing extension, or a broader discharge issue.

Why do gutters overflow even after cleaning?

Overflow can come from debris, restricted outlets, low spots, poor pitch, undersized outlets, guard performance, roof-water volume, backflow, or a downspout discharge problem. Photos help route the next step, but field verification may change the recommendation.

Why is water getting behind the gutter?

Water can get behind a gutter because of pitch, loose attachment, a back-edge condition, roof-edge transition, drip-edge detail, clogged outlet, overflow, or surrounding construction. The visible drip does not prove the full cause by itself.

Can a leaking seam be resealed?

Sometimes. A seam, miter, end cap, or outlet may be repairable when the metal is sound, the joint can be prepared, and the repair boundary is clear. Corrosion, movement, poor pitch, or repeated patching can make replacement a better path.

Can a sagging gutter be re-pitched?

A sagging run may be re-secured or re-pitched when the gutter, hangers, and fascia can support the correction. If attachment points or the run itself are failing, the scope may need repair or replacement instead.

Can one section be replaced without replacing everything?

Partial replacement can make sense when one run or section has failed and the remaining system is sound. Transitions, material compatibility, color expectations, outlet placement, and pitch still need review.

When should gutters be fully replaced?

Full replacement may make sense when leaks or corrosion are widespread, repeated patching has failed, pitch or outlets are broadly wrong, multiple runs are mismatched or separated, or broad fascia work requires removal and reset.

Can you install rolled gutters with fewer seams?

Yes. AWC can provide rolled gutter runs cut to project length, including 6-inch upgrades where appropriate. Longer rolled runs can reduce seams and leak points, but corners, outlets, expansion, access, transport, and roof layout still determine the final seam locations.

Do you offer recurring gutter maintenance?

Recurring gutter maintenance can be reviewed for homes, HOAs, rentals, apartments, and taller properties when safe access, equipment, scheduling, and scope support it. Frequency depends on trees, roof type, guards, debris, water volume, and past overflow.

Send the Address and Photos. We’ll Tell You the Practical Next Step.

Simple, clearly visible conditions may begin with photo review. Larger replacement, water-damage, multi-building, property-management, HOA, access-heavy, or multi-trade scopes may need a service visit or the $250 Site Evaluation + Written Bid Package.
